¡Hola! I'm Yesenia

I’m a UX researcher & UX designer who’s all about designing tech that makes life easier, more accessible, and a little bit more joyful for everyone. If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s creating intentional, inclusive designs that actually work for real people—because let’s face it, we all deserve tech that just clicks.

I’m a firm believer that inclusivity is the heart of good design, and I make it a priority to advocate for all users, no matter their background, abilities, or tech-savviness.

I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Information Science, Systems, and Technology, where I focused on UX Design and Data Science. Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in Learning Technology, and Experience Design at New York University, continuing to deepen my expertise in creating user-centered, impactful experiences.

When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me on a yoga mat (trying not to fall over), traveling to somewhere new (passport in hand), or baking banana bread (because YUM). Oh, and I’m also dedicated to my French learning streak on Duolingo, and I’m proud to say I haven’t missed a day in months! Still working on speaking fluently, but I’m getting there one word at a time.

Feel free to reach out to me at yp2859@nyu.edu. Let’s create something that makes a difference—together!
